Goal
The goal is to provide the customer with a reliable and secure resource allowing users to work from any location while eliminating the need for hosting physical servers.
Summary
Data and Email will be securely hosted within Microsoft 365. Microsoft licenses will be directly purchased by the customer for full control and transparency of ownership.
Data and e-mail migration will be completed by Advanced Information Technologies (AIT) while onsite, working directly with the end users.
The new deployment will replace the need for an on-premises Active Directory (AD) domain and allow for quicker and more fluid deployment of devices to employees while improving security and workflow.
Security
In accordance with the DOL security standards, the M365 connections for users will be secured with Microsoft multi-factor authentication and data loss prevention will be set at a 7-year retention period.
